Hey Guys,
I mean hey YOU! <---- That was a special shout out to my follower. LOL!
Anyway, if there's anybody out there.... I have a couple freebies today for
Get Excited!
One of my groups has been working on comparing decimals, so I made a quick game to slide into a communicator sleeve. The students play against a partner, using playing cards with digits 1-9 (Ace is one). They flip two cards over into the rectangles provided and compare the two decimal numbers. Then they draw a model using flats, rods, and units (Flat= 1 Whole, Rod = Tenths, Units= Hundredths.) You can have the kids flip over three cards, if you want to cover the zero with a whole number. It's up to you! The player with the greater number captures the other player's cards.
The kids loved it!

I also made an interactive place value display including standard, expanded, and word-form. You can use this in addition to a number of the day activity! I included the Millions place through the Thousandths place. Hope you find a use for it!
